Registered Nurse Substitute Instructor:

The Alaska Vocational Technical Center [AVTEC] is seeking to hire an instructor for its Allied Health Department. This individual will provide instruction for Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) classroom and clinical training. This is an RN-Substitute Instructor, temporary position and could lead to a full-time, permanent position.

Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in nursing, BLS for Health Care Providers, two years experience, one year long term care experience and teaching adults. Candidates are required to be licensed registered nurse (general duty), and have TB clearance. A criminal background check and fingerprinting are also required. Must be 21 years of age to apply.
